"I would like to start by thanking JESUS for sending me a blessing such as Meka!!!!!!  I am a young lady who loves to look good at all times.  I have been to over half of these high priced salons in the triangle area, and have been over charged, over processed, and over looked!  I love to wear weaves, and I want my weaves to ALWAYS look natural and undetectable.  Well all these wanna be's around here claimed they could do that for me, and I come out looking a HOT and BOTHERED mess!!!!  I would spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on fusions, invisible sew ins, mirco lengths, yarn techniques, and even rubber band technique but still would come home pissed off b/c I had just wasted my time and money.  Oh please don't let me forget to mention that I would have a six o'clock appointment and not get seen until 1:45am before the stylist would start sewing in my hair.  WELL LADIES THOSE DAYS R GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MEKA IS THAT DEAL!!!! YA HEARD!!!!  When I go to Meka I have no worries what so ever when I sit down b/c I know I am going to be TOTALLY satisfied when I leave.  My sew ins are always natural looking no bird nest closures that sit on top of your head an wobble all day long!  My weave closures are always so flat that people think I am wearing a wig or it is my natural hair.  I never have to wait on Meka she jumps right on my hair as soon as I walk thru the door.  The atmosphere is always nice and relaxed.   Again I say I would like to thank GOD for sending me her way!  I have been going to her almost a year now, and will continue until she decides to leave this area.  I look for longevity in a stylist and I have found that in this beautiful person.  So all u ladies trying all those wanna be's on craigslist and around the triangle, STOP!!!!  Look no further b/c STYLES BY MEKA IS WHERE IT IS AT!!!!  GOD BLESS ''

"Let me just start off by saying, if it wasn't for Meka, my 2009 New Year's Eve Hairdo would not have been possible without her working me in her schedule. I found out about Meka online and saw her styles and decided to try her out. She definitely works miracles!! "I would recommend Styles by Meka to anyone. I have very fine naturally curly hair and I am very skeptical about the people who service my hair. For 20+ years I have used the same person to maintain my hair only because she was the only person who was able and comfortable enough to do it. My hair type/texture most would consider very hard to do. I was recommended to Meka after i moved to Raleigh and decided that driving 45 minutes to have my hair styled was just too much for me, especially since the service that i was receiving was just not professional at all. When i meet Meka, she welcomed me and made me feel comfortable with her within the first 5 minutes. She was very comfortable with what I asked her to do to my hair even if she wasn't so sure i did not know it. "For everyone out there looking for a great stylist, Meka is it!! I've been in the Raleigh area for about a year now, and I needed someone who knew how to do sew-ins. I grew tired of traveling 2 hours just to get my hair done. I knew that surely SOMEONE in Raleigh knew how to do hair, so after some advice, I turned to craigslist. I first tried a woman from craigslist (who I won't name) **cough cough** who "claimed" to know how to do a great sew in, but unfortunately, NO SHE DID NOT!! Lesson learned to NEVER let anyone do you hair that can't provide pictures! I then decided to try Meka, after being convinced by the pics on her site. Meka is such a wonderful, VERY PROFFESSIONAL stylist! She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I really loved how she kept me informed on the process. She even provided me a hand mirror during the weaving, and asked me to show her how I wanted my hair, unlike some who just do what they want to do, and hope at the end it turns out right.She totally banged out my hairstyle AND MY SWOOP!!! It's so official! :)I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER AND WILL GO BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN!! THANKS MEKA!!!"

 "I moved to Raleigh,a few weeks ago and was looking for someone to braid my daughter's hair and the prices some of the salons was giving me was outrageous, I found Meka's website and saw some of the pictures, and gave her a call, she was very nice to my daughter and I when we came and got our hair done, I like the hair style she did for the both of us, it didn't take long, she made sure I was happy with the way our hair look, and my sew-in looks better than the one I had done in Kansas City . "If you are looking for somebody that know how to braid your hair, Meka is the person.  I was skeptical at first about having sombody new to braid my hair.  But overall, it was a very pleasant experience for me.  she is very nice and courteous.  It was a very nice enviroment, she made me feel at home.  I got alot of compliments today about my hair.  I am very pleased with her work.  I would recommend her to anybody that may be concerned about getting her hair done.  She definately get a two thumbs up....."
